The Oregon Society of Anesthesiologists will again be offering our annual CME meeting this fall in Portland, Oregon.  It will be an all day meeting with workshops on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the OHSU Collaborative Life Sciences Building on the South Waterfront (2730 SW Moody Ave.)  Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided.  We will spend the morning learning about Advanced Airway Management and Bedside Ultrasound, and afternoon workshops will focus on surgical airways and transthoracic echocardiography.  Dr. Behringer is our 2017 Haugen Lecturer.

The PostGraduate Assembly in Anesthesiology (PGA) is a five-day event, sponsored by the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists, Inc., and takes place each December in New York City. The PGA attracts upwards of 4,000 attendees from around the world, and is a global platform for networking and presenting anesthesia’s latest science and technologies. The PGA’s scientific program offers more than 200 sessions, special lectures and hands-on workshops. Attendees have the opportunity to share innovating ideas in perioperative medicine, intensive care, emergency medicine and pain management, as well as evidence-based knowledge of primary clinical relevance.
