Unfortunately the 2020 OSA Annual Meeting and Haugen Lecture is being canceled due to the current COVID-19 concerns. Anesthesiologists are uniquely situated to inadvertently spread the virus — especially from asymptomatic infected patients (as highlighted in the recent APSF communication  https://www.apsf.org/news-updates/perioperative-considerations-for-the-2019-novel-coronavirus-covid-19/). The OSA Board has decided that for the safety of our patients and members we avoid having a large gathering of anesthesiologists from around the state and country at this time. Several of our guest speakers are unable to attend the meeting for this very reason.
One of our goals for the Annual Education Meeting and Haugen Lecture is to provide a high-value CME event for our members - to meet that goal, we are planning on re-scheduling this program for later in the year and we will notify our membership of that date as it materializes. We are working on the refund process.
